The borderless work of the Musicians of Saint-Julien on popular sources and their link with scholarly repertoires led them to Yvette Guilbert. His science of interpretation appeared to them, for them always in search of the naturalness of ancient music, as a privileged source. With soprano Françoise Masset, totally immersed in the character and her virtuoso art of speaking and singing, they imagined a festive and very current program bringing together songs and tunes from all eras, which the café-concert diva sang or published.
